About Me: Poet, Author & Brand Consultant

Shaped by a personal journey through illness and recovery, I write about what it means to become—to heal, change, and find a deeper sense of self along the way. My work is contemplative and often rooted in elemental imagery and spiritual inquiry.

Alongside my writing practice, I draw on a background in beauty and wellness marketing to collaborate with conscious founders and mission-driven brands. I help shape identities, language, and stories that feel human and true to what they’re here to create.

The Story Behind the Work

My work began in a period of stillness I did not choose. During a life-altering illness, my world became quieter and more contained. What once felt certain fell away, and I found myself learning to move through my days with a different kind of attention—slower, more inward, and often uncertain. I began to notice small things: the movement of light, the rhythm of emotion, and subtle shifts in awareness.

As I entered recovery, words arrived in fragments that felt less like answers and more like openings. Over time, those fragments gathered into something more cohesive.

What emerged from that period was Ultraviolet: Meditations on Healing & Transformation, a collection shaped by the experience of moving through illness and the nonlinear process of healing. The work is rooted in stillness, observation, and a willingness to remain with what is unfolding without needing to resolve it.

I don’t think of this body of work as something I set out to write. It formed as a byproduct of learning to listen more closely and trust what reveals itself in that space.

Poetry is a Form of Healing

It’s an invitation to come closer to what we feel and notice. Short-form writing breaks experience into small, attentive moments, allowing us to name what is present and give shape to what is still forming. In that act of naming, something shifts and is released. It ‘s where healing lives, and where language meets the soul.

Why Brand Consulting?

I love storytelling and the many different forms a story can take. Helping brands and people shape narratives that feel true to who they are feels like a small way of making the world a better, more meaningful place. When you clarify someone’s story, you create space for their most authentic voice to shine and reach the people who need it.

My poetry practice and consulting work are rooted in the same process: uncovering essence. To discover what is honest and alive within each person, brand, or body of work—and then find the language to bring it into the world—is the part of the process I love most.
